Youth-Led Non-Profit Spotlight – FURA

Ashrita Kancharakuntla is the founder of FURA, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved communities through service, education, and innovation.

Under her leadership, FURA has:

• Organized food and blanket drives for homeless shelters
• Raised over $5,000 for Seattle Children’s Hospital and orphaned kids
• Partnered with local organizations such as Sophia Way Women’s Shelter to support vulnerable groups

About Ashrita

Beyond her nonprofit work, Ashrita is an accomplished youth leader. She has:

• Received the U.S. Presidential Volunteer Service Award for community contributions
• Advanced to the finals of the TiE Youth Entrepreneurs Program
• Interned with AI startups and is building her own AI-powered digital marketing platform
• Founded and leads school clubs, actively engages in debate, and champions youth-driven innovation with purpose
